Vertical market, outsourced IT service provider, seeks a Service Delivery Manager.

The progression will mean the maturing of working practices and procedures, keeping a keen eye on productivity, effectiveness and quality; without losing sight of the small is beautiful approach. There is the possibility of directorship and share options in the medium term future, once you have firmly established and proven your worth.
The Service Delivery Manager reports directly to the business owner. This is a new post designed to free the owner from day to day management and to enable him to operate at a higher level and develop new business opportunities.
The company has an enviable client list in Central London. Customers range in size from 1 to 120 employees. The company provide IT services and support including; day to day IT technical support, infrastructure and server upgrades/renewals/replacements, office moves, and other IT technical solutions and project implementations.
The main focus of your role will be the effective management of 2 support teams (8 people), resource planning to maximise productivity, whilst ensuring quality. You will work closely with customers to define SLAs and measure performance. It is anticipated that 70% of your time will be spent with an internal staff and operations focus, and 30% of your time spent working with customers.
The successful Service Delivery Manager will come from an outsourced IT service provider background and have proven management skills.
Office is based in London, zone 1. Salary circa 40,000 dependent on experience.
