As the Customer Insight Analyst you will support many business areas, such as marketing / finance / customer relations in making decisions to grow their business and be the best.
The role of Customer Insight Analyst:
*Is one of four reporting into one of two Customer Insights Managers, which report into the Head Of Customer Analytics. The entire team comprises twelve members and sits within Commercial Finance, in Sales and Marketing
*The team is measured on provision of timely, accurate and actionable reports, insights and tools to help the business to make strategic decisions through maximising use of current data to understand areas such as product usage, customer profiles, behaviour, churn, attitudes and experiences
*The key internal contacts are commercial finance, marketing propositions teams, retentions and Business Intelligence and priorities are driven through commercial finance and sales and marketing
*The key issues faced are those expected within a fast-moving industry - keeping abreast of changes and prioritisation of activity within a changing market and in the requirements.
The main responsibilities of the Customer Insight Analyst are:
*To provide accurate and timely information and reports in an accessible format to internal customers to support their decision making process and have the ability to communicate insights and analytic findings clearly to internal customers
*To work with marketing / finance / Business to maximise the benefits to be gained from current data and information
*Developing and transforming data into information and insights which enables a better understanding about the customer base covering areas like product usage, customer profiles, behaviour, attitudes and experiences
*To develop pro-active and innovative analysis which can be used as the foundation for incremental improvements in sales, increasing the margin per customer and reducing churn
*To develop summary insight reports, pulling together key findings and charts from several sources, to maintaining accurate and up to date records, including reports available to the business, and key project management documents
As the Customer Insight Analyst you will essentially:
*Have competent experience of data manipulation and analysis using SAS
*Be numerate and confident with interpretation, analysis and presentation of statistical data in report form
*Have a good working knowledge using excel
