My client, a Market Leading Telecoms Company, is currently looking for a Planning Support Consultant for their Procurement and contract Management function. The main focus of this role will be entire accountability for managing all planning management documentation and process on behalf of the procurement and contract management team. This is with a view to ensuring the team match the standards and practises recognised elsewhere in the business and that of external recognised bodies.
Additional Responsibilities will include:
- Planning: collection, collation and safe storage of the teams suite of plans
- Provision of Subject matter input and coaching on all aspects of planning in support of the procurement and contract management team.
- Thought leadership and insight
- Business Partnering
- Negotiations
- Management & administration: maintaining tools and processes to provide a consistent method by which procurement plans are collated
- Problem Solving
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of compiling and maintaining multiple, integrated plans which show dependencies between tasks, intelligent logic and work breakdown, resource commitments etc..
- Background in identifying/categorising risks and issues with regard to procurement and project delivery situations
- Demonstrable background providing coaching/mentoring
- A good understanding of office suite applications e.g. MSProject
- Management background in a telecoms, ICT, Sales and Marketing, Media, Property or facilities environment.
