The Global Asset Management Group advises asset managers and investment funds on establishing funds and the associated regulatory requirements for investment funds. They also have a highly active investor-side practice advising institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds on investing into existing funds using a wide range of structures.
Work will include regularly drafting, reviewing and negotiating key investment management documentation such as PPMs, LP Agreements and fund articles, as well as investment management, custody, brokerage/clearing and similar agreements. Working side-by-side with seasoned regulatory specialists, you will also build up a strong regulatory knowledge tailored to your developing asset management practice. As the asset management industry enters into an exciting new phase, there is no better place to be to develop a cutting-edge, diverse and interesting practice combining core advisory skills with the buzz of transactional work!
Excellent academics and training/experience gained at a well-regarded and rated practice are essential.
