Our client is an established Thames Valley firm with two offices one is West Berkshire (south of the M4) where this role will be based and another in South Oxfordshire (north of the M4). The private client practice consists of one partner based in the Oxfordshire office, and a Paralegal and Secretary in the Berkshire office, they used to have a solicitor in this team, but she retired recently.
This is therefore a great opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to develop their own practice, there is already a team in place, which will need managing, but business development is going to be key. I would suspect that if successful candidate proved themselves capable of growing this department then partnership would be just around the corner.
