We need Experienced carers to join our team.
We deal with Learning Disabilities and the Elderly, in Residential Homes around the area, Colchester, Clacton, Walton and Harwich.

Role: It may include the following;
* To ensure the cleanliness of designated areas, either working with service users on cleaning tasks or directly carrying out the necessary tasks.
* To support service users in daily living and practical tasks.
* To clean the kitchen areas, cookers and other equipment.
* To assist service users to maintain an acceptable standard of hygiene.
* To comply with standards of hygiene including food hygiene.
* To work with other staff delivering the care plan to individual service users.
* To contribute to good communication and record keeping as required.
* To use hoists in the correct manner.
* To attend to service users needs in a professional manner.

Requirements:
* At least 6 months Experience as a Health Care Assistant.
* Knowledge of service users rights.
* Knowledge of the role and expectations.
* Proof of training.
* A valid Manual Handling certificate.
* A CRB issued within 6 months of applying.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to work alone or within a team.
* Flexible as the shifts will vary & may be last minute.
* Own transport or willing to use public transport.

Please note the shifts are AM, PM or Night shifts, we can not guarantee you any particular shifts. You MUST have experience and you MUST be willing to do day shifts.
