Full or Part Time Derivatives PSL 3PQE+

This top tier firm would like to hear from Derivatives solicitors with at least three years of post qualification experience who would like to make the transition to a professional support role. This PSL role sits within a very well regarded Derivatives department and can be either full or part time.

This is a new role, and an opportunity for someone to take on a varied amount of responsibility. The role will involve taking charge of know-how and precedents, standard forms, training and meetings, marketing and conferences. Specifically, responsibilities will include:

- Keeping up to date on updates and developments in the Derivatives field and updating the fee earners
- Maintaining and updating the Derivatives page on the intranet and organising know how and precedents
- Arranging and participating in firm wide PSL meetings, and being a part of the general knowledge management team to organise firm wide know how
- Drafting and commenting on standard documents
- Reviewing and updating the training currently available on Derivatives, and organising training sessions
- Delivering training relating to Derivatives
- Preparing client briefings on topical issues, brochures and other marketing materials
- Working with the business development team to draft client pitches
- Assisting with the Derivatives team's submissions for directories
- Participating in external conferences and events.

The PSL is therefore a pivotal part of this small team, and will work very closely with Partners and associates, as well as having client contact and good visibility within other departments.

As this is a sole role, the team are looking for a lawyer with at least three years of solid Derivatives experience who can handle technical issues and responsibility from an early stage. Candidates need not have prior PSL experience and may come from an in house or private practice background, as long as you can show solid derivatives knowledge.
