Application Development Services Product Manager, c65-90k DOE + bonus + benefits

Do you have a strong background as a practitioner in IT Delivery and an Architect or Programme / Delivery Manager? An outstanding opportunity exists for an Application Development Service Product Manager to join this leading IT Software Development and Integration Group in their London offices to take responsibility for their core application development service offering. This organisation works predominantly in and around London and the south east but will be expanding their client portfolio and there will be the occasional nee to travel within Europe as the role requires. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the UK Division, this is a key and senior role. You will own the definition of the offer to market, innovation around application development tools and techniques, involvement in pre-sales, project and account reviews, shaping and estimating engagements as well as the commercial management of the Application Development portfolio.

With excellent relationship management / stakeholder management skills you are a senior IT professional with an IT Architect and/or Programme Management background, with a good knowledge of Java, .Net architecture with significant experience in Prince 2 / Agile / Iterative environments ideally as well as a demonstrable track record working within a matrix management structure. Solid commercial software development process understanding including managing third party suppliers, clients and geographically distributed teams is also required. You have significant budgetary management experience and ideally experience of working with off-shore / on-shore projects teams. Prince 2 or similar qualifications / structured methodological experience and experience of iterative / Agile methodologies essential.
