Online Merchandising Intern / Graduate (Thomas Cook), £20k

Position: Merchandising Internship
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Location: Covent Garden, Central London
Salary: £20k per annum
We've got: a 1 year programme during which you'll support the key deliverables in the Supply and Merchandising department. You will play a key supporting the team as they work to increase the discovery and booking conversion of products on the Thomas Cook websites through product merchandising and the implementation of promotional content.
You've got: passion, drive and ambition - plus a relevant degree or experience in an online merchandising role. We'd especially love to hear from you if you have French, German or Dutch language skills but these are by no means essential.
We don't expect you to know it all straight away. But if you've got the desire to get there, we'll do everything we possibly can to help. You'll have a dedicated mentor, a proven development program and the chance to do big things at Thomas Cook.

About us: Thomas Cook Online is the part of the world famous Thomas Cook Group that is responsible for all ecommerce activity across 33 websites in five countries. Our Covent Garden, Central London office is home to the core marketing, merchandising, technology, site optimisation and analytics teams plus all of the support functions.
About the internship: You will be employed on a 12 month contract, during which you will spend time in one or more of the Supply and Merchandising teams. As these teams are the guardians of the Thomas Cook online 'shop window', you can expect to be involved in:
Tracking performance of merchandising activity
Selecting products for promotion and analysing performance
Testing new merchandising initiatives
You will have clearly defined duties and responsibilities, have regular development meetings with your line manager and monthly face time with a senior member of the Merchandising management team. You'll work hard, learn a lot and if you're as good as we hope you are, we'll even consider you for a permanent job.
