We are currently recruiting for a highly profitable blue chip Food manufacturing group with several sites in the UK.
Based on a continental shift pattern and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the role will be to manager the maintenance team on site whilst remaining hands on.
The position requires a strong multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a background in a fast paced manufacturing environment. On a day to day basis you will be involves in planned and preventative schedules including the delegation of tasks to engineering within the team.
The ideal candidate will therefore be qualified to a minimum of apprentice level in electrical engineering, with experience in overseeing a PPM schedule, developing individuals and working in conjunction with Production whilst remaining hands on.
Longer term opportunities also exist to take on more responsibility in more senior operational and technical positions at this site and others within the group.
