Established Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultants undertaking M&E Building Services, Civil, Structural, Transportation, Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering projects seek to appoint a BREEAM Assessor to their West Midlands office. The jobholder will play a leading role in the assessment, analysis & rating of buildings working from project inception through to determination of final rating. Reporting to an Associate, responsibilities will include: close co-operation with clients & internal design teams to ensure successful project delivery with the correct certification level; completion of BREEAM pre-assessment workshops from feasibility stages to pre-construction; undertaking evidence review for completion of design stage & post-construction assessments; provision of regular internal project updates; site investigation in line with post-construction requirements; compilation of audit records; assessment submission. Qualified as a BREEAM Assessor in ideally several disciplines, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a good track record in a similar position liaising closely with clients, providing design advice & guidance and producing BREEAM reports for BRE submission. Candidates will have good knowledge of Part L along with energy & carbon reduction and would ideally have some experience of SAP/ SBEM calculations.
