Web Application support analyst - Applications Support Analyst - JVM- Java Virtual Machine - Apache - HTTP server Jboss - TomCat - Linux - Unix - Redhat -operations support web deployment / Web Applications environment is required by a publishing company based close to Waterloo, London - Paying up to £51,000 + bonus + bens

Web Application Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer will join a team who are responsible for the deployment, maintenance, operation and technical support for all online applications across all development, test, pre-production and production environments .

I am looking for an experienced Web Application support Analyst has a background of providing support within an web services environment and have experience of Apache, HTTP server , JVM Application Server including configuration and tuning Jboss / Tomcat experience long with Linux - preferably Redhat

Any knowledge of shell or perl programming, TCP/IP and internet protocols, SQL would also be preferred .

The Web Applications Support Analyst / Applications Specialist role will involve
* Administer and maintain applications and environments, whilst building and maintaining up to date technical knowledge of technologies that are relevant to the execution of the applications.
* Ensure that all planned infrastructure work has had appropriate prior testing.
* Build new applications test and production environments as required by the Service Delivery, Development and Test teams.
* Maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure, applications and data.
* Deploy and administer workflow for applications, database and content changes.
* Administer user accounts for operating systems and applications
