Position: Marketing Executive
Location: Bolton, Lancashire
Salary: £21,176 - £24,554

Reporting directly to the Divisional Managers, this is a great opportunity to support an expanding, market-leading, medical equipment company through the management of the Company`s marketing functions.

You will be based at their Horwich (Bolton) facility and be responsible for developing and maintaining short, mid, and long-term Strategic Marketing Plans covering all marketing activities (mailings; exhibitions; PR; advertising; etc.) required to promote the company and its products and services. You will also be required to plan and implement sales promotions with the Divisional Manager.

The successful candidate will be involved in researching and tracking industry related information (competitor news; product/service launches; market trends etc.); analysing effectiveness of marketing activities applying lessons learned from prior activities to identify most cost effective methods of marketing; and collating and analysing data gathered at events; through mailings and campaigns etc. to develop business intelligence

You will have overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of exhibitions and congresses that the Company are involved in; attending or sponsoring. This will include organisation of stand design; literature used; equipment taken; attendees; logistics; etc.

The Marketing Executive will be expected to work with the senior management team to develop and maintain a consistent corporate brand; develop and maintain corporate brand criteria to be applied across the company for all customer communications; and work with senior management team to develop and maintain company websites ensuring product details etc. are correct and current.

The successful applicantwill be required to develop and maintain all marketing collateral including website; product flyers; product guides; exhibition materials; sales presenters; corporate branded gifts; corporate stationery; catalogues; artwork; newsletters; advertisements; press releases; editorials etc.

The Person
You will have a proven track record in a similar role, be computer literate and be commercially orientated. It is essential that you have the capacity to work with colleagues at all levels, have the ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to work on own initiative whilst maintaining team approach. The successful candidate must have exemplary personal standards of conduct, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications - A degree or equivalent experience essential.
