Abc Teachers are working with a Special Educational Needs school in Walsall, to recruit for a number of Teaching Assistant positions for next acadadmic year. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
We are looking for Level 1, 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants with a minimum of six months experience working with SEN pupils. Applicants must be willing to help with personnal care duties as and when needed. Skills in Manual Handling are desirable but not essential. We are particularly interested to hear from Teaching Assistants who have a history of working on a one to one basis with ASD pupils.
Potential positions include a Level 3 TA for ASD class (3 days per week) and Level 2 floating TA (5 days per week). We are also looking for bank staff, to be used on a regular supply basis.

Successful applicants must have
Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, B.Ed, GTP, BA (QTS)
Subject Specialism (Key Stage 3 and 4)
Have proof of eligibility to teach and reside in the UK
Have a traceable and reference checkable teaching history (where applicable)
Possess an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to apply for one)
