Abc Teachers are working with a primary special educational needs school in Telford to recruit an experienced Teacher to lead an ASD unit.

The role will be five days a week on an ongoing basis, with a view to going permanent later in the academic year.

The unit will host children from Reception to Year 6 age, who need particular attention and support. You will be involved in developing and implementing behavioural strategies, and therefore must have experience of doing this in a previous position.

Applicants must have QTS, and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the special needs sector. You will be leading a group of 3 TAs, so leadership experience in a similar role is desirable.

Successful applicants must have

Have proof of eligibility to teach and reside in the UK

Have a traceable and reference checkable teaching history (where applicable)

Possess an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to apply for one)
