Our client is a respected, proven and agile provider of travel retail solutions. They have received multiple industry awards and now due to rapid expansion are looking to offer an opportunity to work within IT programming as an apprentice. Working within a busy team with full support and training the actual position involves:
* Writing computer software
* Writing programmes and codes
* Engaging with customers
* Analyse requirements and create test specifications
* Setting up test environments
* Produce problem reports when defects are found and work in a team to resolve these
* Produce weekly and final test reports

The ideal candidate will be switched on and very keen to get into the IT / software development sector. Any demonstrable computer technical skills would be desirable as this demonstrates an interest in the industry. Maybe you have built your own website etc? You will need to enjoy working as part of a team and be able to adapt to different work priorities. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual and will cement you in this rapidly expanding industry sector.
During your apprenticeship you will earn approximately £400 per month so a great opportunity to earn while you learn. Additionally you will benefit from bespoke training and development that is delivered throughout your apprenticeship.
