Located near the heart of Coventry to the South of the City this 2 form entry primary school are seeking to appoint an outstanding year 1 teacher, for a 2 term contract, which is due to commence September 2012. The role is full time and will require the successful applicant to teach all aspects of the year 1 national curriculum, to class of 30 pupils from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, with mixed ability levels.

The school sits in the top half of the league tables for Coventry, and has seen results steadily improving over the last few years under the direction of their new head teacher. The school are committed to the CPD of all staff and you will be provided with support and guidance by your key stage co-ordinator and the senior management team. Planning is done as year group teams and your PPA time will be taken in conjunction with the other Year 1 teacher. Further support in the class will be provided by a qualified level 3 TA.

The school are committed to continuing their recent improvements, with standards and expectations of staff and pupils set high. You will be committed and passionate about Teaching Key Stage 1, and confident in your ability to support your class of 30 pupils achieve their potential in whilst under your tutelage. This role would be suitable to both experienced Key Stage 1 Teachers and "outstanding" NQT's.
