Job title: Technical Trainer

Salary 35k plus 6k Car Allowance

Location: Cheshire with some travel UK wide with some International travel

The company

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Trainer. The successful person will have proven experience in delivering multiple training programs and ideally have a background or experience in ERP or Accounts. You will be responsible for the delivery of IT Application Training on a UK wide and International basis.

Main purpose of the job

Own the overall delivery of all technical product training requirements for the company internal staff, end users and partner network.

Key role responsibilities

Deliver end-user, partner and distributor training including curriculum, training, exams, ultimately leading to Partner Certification

Deliver internal product training for sales, pre-sales and customer operations teams

Ensure accurate recording of trained delegates and travel costs for billing

Support technical author in developing eLearning, video presentation and other materials for client training and education purposes

Support technical author in updating classroom training manuals in line with new functionality in software releases

Plan and publish a six-month training calendar covering all training

Car driver and owner with a clean driving license.

Key functional and technical skills

Strong (and evidenced) experience delivery of IT application training, preferably bespoke technologies

Strong accounts and/or ERP experience especially in a training capacity

Course preparation, organization, planning and time keeping

Proficient in MS Office up to latest version

Online training delivery

Experience of performing training needs analysis

Familiarity with PC configuration and software installation.

Desirable skills and experience

Knowledge and experience of creating a variety of rich learning aids to ensure product knowledge absorption

Working knowledge of IT hardware

Degree qualified in Information Systems, Instructional Training or equivalent.
