English Teacher for a maternity cover post within Hemel Hempstead, Central Hertfordshire

Required for September 2012; this excellent school within central Hertfordshire are looking for a good teacher of English to join their successful department for a years' contract starting in September.

Would you like to teach English in an excellent, supportive and popular specialist sports college?The school is based in Hertfordshire within an affluent part of the country? This school requires a good class teacher who is dedicated to teaching good lessons and able to teach across the secondary Key Stages, including A-Level.

This is a high achieving school with students that are keen to learn. Behaviour problems are at a minimum so this is a position in which you can teach your subject and be challenged by the schools ambitious students. Ofsted have been complimentary of the SMT team and the general success the school.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Be fully qualified teachers and hold a suitably recognised teaching qualification,
* Hold a degree within their main subject area
* Have recent and relevant teaching experience.
* You must hold the right to work within the UK and have the intention to commit to a full time position for at least a year.
