OS Kernel Principal Software Engineer

Our client, a world-famous high technology company based in the Cambridge, is looking to recruit a Principal Software
Engineer for Operating Systems Kernels into its team working on kernel generalisation and device drivers for specific
chosen platforms.

Working as part of a team of world-class Linux Kernel engineers, you will play a crucial hands-on technical leadership
role to develop device drivers, provide technical direction on device tree bindings and drive OS integration with
firmware.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and relevant experience to be eligible for this role:
- Linux Kernel-Level Development
- Kernel bring-up and low-level debugging
- knowledge of system architectures (OS Kernel internals)
- strong C skills along with good knowledge of assembler
- understanding of ACPI.
