Housekeeping Supervisor (Hospitality) around £8.00per hour

Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Wyboston, Beds
Salary: around £8.00per hour
ROLE:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure the standards of cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas are maintained at levels laid down by the Company and to ensure customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) The Cleaning Supervisor / Housekeeping will organise the team into working groups as per the workload in the area.
b) Ensure the rooms, bathrooms, corridors and landings are cleaned in accordance with Company standards.
c) To ensure sufficient cleaning materials are available.
d) Recommend new or improved cleaning materials or methods as appropriate.
e) Record the Bourne linen delivery for areas for which you are responsible, plus distribute and control linen stock.
f) One day each week you will carry out a complete stock check of linen, complete sheets and report to the senior Supervisor/Housekeeping Manager.
g) Train, organise, manage and motivate the cleaning team to work to the set standards of performance:
h) Ensure that the team is smartly turned out in accordance with the uniform requirements set.
i) Report all maintenance problems and damage to the Housekeeping Manager and to Reception for logging on to V1.
j) Recommend to the Housekeeping Manager any replacement of furniture, furnishings or equipment used in her department.
k) To make sure all the relevant current Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
l) Seek out opportunities for reducing costs and wastage, and shrinkage of stock.
m) Train the team in the correct Company methods of working and standards of customer care. To carry out other duties and responsibilities as and when required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) You will have previous experience within a Cleaning, Housekeeping or Facilities Management role.
b) Applicants will have experience in the supervision of a team of staff.
c) Excellent Customer service skills.
d) You will have good attention to detail.
e) Candidates must have excellent written and Verbal communication skills.
f) Ability to train others.
g) Assertiveness, Honesty and Integrity.
You may have experience of the following: Cleaner, Cleaning Manager, Cleaner Supervisor, Housekeeping, Cleaning, Housekeeper, Facilities Assistant, Front of House Manager etc.
