The school is looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher required to work in a popular, desirable school where excellent results are frequently achieved. The position is a long term role to start in January 2013.

This a large primary school with a nursery unit. The school are seeking a high calibre key stage 2 teacher to join the school in January 2013. The schools present roll is 341 pupils and they cater for the age ranges 3 to 11 years of age.

The school has specialist areas including a fully equipped ICT room, library, a reception unit and a large purpose built nursery.

The school benefits from 13 classrooms altogether. There was a new build programme in 2007 which gave them 4 brand new classrooms.

In addition there is an assembly hall, fully equipped with gymnastic and P.E. apparatus, which also doubles up as a dining hall at lunchtimes and a meeting place for assemblies.

The school benefits from the use of a large playing field, three playgrounds and a patio area. Foundation Stage has an outside classroom and community area. The playgrounds have been brightened up; making it more interesting and enjoyable for the children to play in and the schools PTA have funded 2 new pieces of playground equipment.

The school is well resourced. We have modern teaching equipment and materials and all classrooms have at least two computers in them. The children benefit from networked individual access to their work, a 24 hour virtual learning platform - our portal and the Internet. An e-mail system, video conferencing and digital cameras throughout the school enhance the children's ICT learning. We also have televisions, DVDs, interactive whiteboards many audio-visual resources and musical instruments.

The successful candidate will be a team player, prone to making changes and planning and executing creative and innovative lessons. You will have the desire to actively be part of school life. You will support the pupils in and out of the classroom. In return the school will offer a supportive faculty team and extended support throughout your time at the school.
