The company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of security and SmartCard solutions

The position:

They are now seeking a Production IT Support Engineer at their West London plant to process and prepare data files for production and deliver quality test cards and files to customers.

Responsibilities include;

1.Generation, processing and administration of live data according to internal and customer requirements.

2.1st line technical support for the production process: system set-up; machine set-ups; data processing software and personalization software.

3.Planned maintenance of live production: products; system set-up; machine set-ups; data processing software and personalization software.

4.Adherence to: company working practices and security requirements.

5.Local administration of work stations, user accounts, machine builds, etc.

6.The completion of daily checks concerning files: receipt; transmission and processing.

7.To diagnose and troubleshoot data processing and personalisation software errors and, where applicable, to work with the internal IT, Project and Development teams, third parties and head office to resolve these issues.

8.To administer setups for production machines, including DC9000, Maxsys and MX6000.

9.Support Project Managers and Project Support in the set up of test systems, production of test cards and supply of system and test data

You should be computer literate and have some experience of working in an I.T./ Production environment before.
