Senior Allocator Merchandiser Manager - Luxury Heritage Fashion Brand
Camden, North West London (NW1)
Circa £25,000 - £30,000 + staff discount

We are one of the UK's most valued, luxury fashion brands and have a vacancy for a Senior Allocator Merchandiser Manager.
Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of the role is to maximise profit potential and minimise risk to the business through effective product buying and allocating of stock, margin management, mark-downs, management of stock levels/transfers and terminal stock. To provide accurate, timely and effective information to the Senior Management team to support the decision making process.

Job Responsibilities:

> Provide sales analysis reports as required to: Senior management team, e-Commerce, Production, Design, Marketing, VM and Retail Store Managers
> Provide the opportunity to maximise sales performance across all stores, concessions and e-commerce by driving sales through effective stock/intake control and driving push lists. In addition, partnering with production to maintain an accurate and efficient delivery service
> Plan trading to budget requirements through on-going review and analysis of sales, stock, margin plans at department, category and store level
> Manage the open to buy for all categories of product and potential reorders
> Plan and organise stock and consolidation to meet sales forecasts
> Plan mark-downs and recommend carryover stocks during sale periods
> With support, plan seasonal range planning to produce buy plans
> Manage direct report and oversee the allocation of stock to all stores
> Oversee all Purchase Order Management, upload and accuracy of orders in the system, confirmation of orders, investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
> Provide end of season analysis for following buys and recommendations to improve the sell through
> Review buy with wholesale division at end of selling season and adjust accordingly as necessary
> Maintain strong relationships and effective communication with all internal contacts ie Production and Store Managers by proactively driving meetings and store visits
> Manage motivate, delegate and develop Merchandise Planner/Allocator and intern support including, performance reviews, identification of training needs and objective setting

Who we are looking for:

The successful Merchandise Manager will have relevant experience in the premium high street or luxury fashion sector, be numerate with excellent attention to detail and be proficient in excel. We are looking for a confident communicator who is able to build relationships with contacts and colleagues at all levels.
