Volunteer Co-ordinator

NJC pts 29 - 32, starting at £24,646 pro rata
for 30 hours a week plus 6% pension

This is a joint appointment by MVDA and My Sister's Place, domestic violence service. MVDA is responding to the current economic and policy climate by increasing capacity in Middlesbrough Volunteer Centre. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee the transition to delivery of our core brokerage service by volunteers and to pilot our provision of volunteer co-ordination for a frontline organisation. You will have a good understanding of volunteering, excellent inter-personal and organisational skills, and the ability to be self-directing.

Due to the nature of the work, the post is open to women only. (The Sex Discrimination Act 7 (2)(e), and the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1- occupational requirement applies).

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance through enhanced CRB disclosure.
