Are you a Primary Teacher in Nottinghamshire? Or are you a Primary Teacher in surrounding areas and willing to travel to Derby? Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Qualified Early Years Primary Teacher in this area. If you have a teaching qualification and primary experience and live in either Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire and the surrounding area then we would like to hear from you.

The Ideal candidate will have recent experience teaching within the EYFS in a Primary School and be able to show strong classroom management skills. You will need to be comfortable with planning and marking work and other duties will include:

Full classroom responsibilities
Keeping records up to date and ensuring that other members of staff and parents/carers are informed on pupil progress
Ensuring that the children in the class are safe at all times
Promoting inclusion and encouraging the pupils to develop social, number and language skills at their own pace
Following all school policies and procedures

To be considered a successful candidate you must be registered with the GTC. This is a term-time only position.

Previous experience within the EYFS is absolutely essential and candidates will be expected to show a high level of understanding and practise. Examples of this must be provided at interview, along with a full employment history. Satisfactory references from all previous employers must be obtainable.

Have recent experience of teaching children within Early Years in a Primary School
