Financial Software House are hiring for a Junior Java Developer to join their highly experienced Java Development team in the City. Salary ranges between £20K - £40K, depending on experience. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including UI, database, interface, service, automated and unit testing work. You can have between 1-5 years' commercial Java experience, and have an understanding of SQL and JDBC. Essential skills include version control experience (ideally svn), JavaScript, HTML and CSS, XML/XSLT, have an understanding of MVC Frameworks, etc. It would be an added advantage is you have experience within Java/J2EE (Web Services, JMS, EJB2, Servlets); Tools and IDEs (Eclipse, Ant, JUnit, Jira); Linux/Unix; JasperReports; Mondiran/JPivot. They are hiring for a reliable and highly motivated junior / mid-level team member who will have the opportunity to acquire a range of beneficial skills and business knowledge and progress within the company.
