Extremely diverse, profitable, multifaceted group has an opportunity for a qualified/last stages (ACCA or CIMA) Accountant to join its Divisional Finance function in a commercially focused role, supporting the FC. You will be responsible for forecasting and planning working closely with Sales teams to Director Level and coordinating with Supply Chain and Warehousing functions to ensure stock control and management to ultimately limit overspend and improve cash flow. You will be ambitious and driven and already have experience of working closely with Non-Finance teams and bridging the gap between commercial functions and central finance. Its a superb opportunity for a qualified/Finalist looking for the opportunity to step away form the month end cycle and into a more business facing position. The business seeks: an ambitious, commercial astute ACCA/CIMA qualified; an individual keen to progress to Controller level or into the remit of commercial Manager longer term; an individual with the confidence and gravitas to work with, and challenge, operationally and commercially focused colleagues and Managers; a self-starter with true drive and genuine ambition; strong Excel skills are understandably a pre requisite.
