Our client is a large public sector organisation, which is in the process of procuring a new ERP system which will need to be implemented over the next 12 -18 months. In order to ensure delivery of a successful programme that is on time, within budget and meets required quality, the organisation is seeking to appoint an ERP Implementation Programme Manager to control ERP work streams and manage programme interdependencies, timelines, risks and issues. Responsible to the Project Director and project board for delivery of the whole ERP programme including its procurement, implementation and initial day-to-day operation, the candidate will be required to lead the Project team in identifying required resources, deciding when to deploy these, managing programme and the project plans and monitoring and control of the critical path of the project. He/she will understand, monitor and control the interdependencies of other ongoing projects and manage the outcomes of this interface and also feed required outcome of ERP into the interdependencies. The successful candidate will possess the skill-set of an ERP Transformation Manager in particular: extensive systems experience, change management, business process re engineering and training, ideally within a public sector context, so as to ensure business benefits realisation.
