The position will be UK based in Alvechurch alongside the CEO and the CFO.

You will have the opportunity to lead the global HR strategy for an established and growing international business. As part of the Executive Management Team you will be involved in shaping the strategic direction of the business for the longer term.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of Global HR programs, policies and procedures. This responsibility encompasses the Global workforce throughout Europe, USA and Asia with dotted line reporting structure for all HR Personnel in each plant facility.

The ideal candidate will currently be working within the Manufacturing and Engineering sector in a Senior or Executive Management Team HR role. You may currently be the number 2 in a larger business looking for your first HR lead role or you may be the number 1 in a business that doesn't allow you the opportunity to use your entrepreneurial skills to full effect. Either way you will be able to demonstrate exceptional HR skills in addition to your business acumen making you a highly commercial and pragmatic individual; able to deliver a nimble and best in class HR function that supports the Short, Medium and Long term goals of the organisation.

This role will direct the development and implementation of the HR strategy for the business across all global locations with responsibility to -

Lead the Global Human Resource Management Group to achieve improved efficiency in the areas of management capabilities, employee relations, organisational culture, management of change, and Global HR procedures and policies.
Co-ordinate and drive the Continuous Improvement Programmes on a Global basis across all sites.
Drive and support the Executive team in order to facilitate the growth programme organically and through acquisition.
Design and implement a global Reward schedule that encompasses all sites and levels within the business.
Ensure that a strong and viable manpower and succession plan is designed and implemented ensuring business continuity for the longer term.
Take control of, and execute, a complete internal communications plan.
