Overview:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of test mobile products and they currently require an experienced Software Test Development Engineer to develop and maintain software for controlling automated test systems, used for the production of cutting-edge RF Test and Measurement products.

Duties:

* Writing, maintaining and debugging code for automated production test systems
* Producing and maintain test documentation and user instructions for the tests
* Develop code as per test specifications and verify its functionally
* Work to project plans and produce deliverables within the required time schedule
* Ensure software is well structured, maintainable and accessible using our source control system
* Control RF Test and Measurement equipment using GPIB and PXI

Requirements:

* Experience in RF Test and Measurement techniques is essential.
* Applicants must be confident in C++, Python and Object Orientated design.
* Must have a systems level understanding of Non-Signalling (Non-Protocol) cellular communications.
* Experience of developing test software for use in a software development environment is preferred.
* Debugging on a Microsoft Windows platform.
* Will have passed the ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certificate.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering related discipline.

The following would be advantageous but is NOT essential:

* Experience with non-cellular standards such as WLAN and BT
