Capita is recruiting for a SSIS/ETL Developer who has In-depth experience of SQL Server 2005/2008 in configuring and
supporting Windows Server and SQL Server 2008. Work will involve development on multiple high-profile projects in a BI
and data warehousing specialised team working to tight timescales. The candidate will be working with database,
Datawarehouse technologies, architectures and BI/ETL tools; including both logical and physical designs, data mart
creation, ETL tools, loaders and development. It is a friendly team and we are looking for someone that is passionate
about migration and development on SSIS.

The successful candidate will join a hard working team that covers the entire solution life cycle from bid work and
requirement gathering through solution delivery to support and training. The diversity of our services provides ample

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Development of BI Solutions within the MS SQL Server 2008 environment
* Development of proof of concepts.
* Translating requirement documents into SSIS packages.
* Communicating to the development manager issues that may affect the successful completion of a project.
* To follow a structured and process driven approach to release delivery.
* Demonstrate flexibility and organisational skills when working on multiple projects concurrently and the ability to
work to challenging deadlines.
* To support Development Manager with key tasks and to ensure deliveries are achieved
* Ability to communicate with technical and non technical staff.
* Some International travel will be required.

Essential:

The ideal candidate must have the following;
* Strong IT Experience
* Specific application experience
* Proven track record as a ETL Developer,
* In-depth experience of SQL Server 2005/2008,
* Strong data warehousing experience including ETL
* Thorough understanding of BI solutions.
* Logical and physical database design,
* Excellent SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
* Excellent understanding of governance, best practice and development methodologies
* Able to work and interact in a multi-national, multi-lingual, multi site environment.

The following skills would be advantageous but are not essential;
* Exposure to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Knowledge of OWB
* Technical certifications
* Ability to Travel
