Due to company expansion, growth and continued success, our client is looking to recruit a Packing Team Leader. The successful candidate will perform a number of duties that will enable our client to continue to be successful. As a team leader you will manage, organise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of packing room operatives through full utilisation of all resources. Ensure efficient and effective operations are maintained at all times whilst reaching agreed quality and output targets in accordance with GMP and ISO9001 standards

MAIN DUTIES

* Leadership of the team
* Communications with various departments to ensure that all standards are maintained
* Training and development in conjunction with the shift supervisor
* Efficient planning and organisation of workload in conjunction with the shift supervisor
* Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are maintained
* People management
* Ensure accurate recording of information
* Manage up to 9 Packing Room Operatives (equivalent full time)
* Appropriate record keeping for all team members, safety for all team members, judgement as to when to call for first aid assistance.
* Daily work allocation in conjunction with the Shift Supervisor.


In addition you will also have responsibility:

* Reconciliation of stock at the end of jobs
* Planning of own and teams daily work tasks
* Planning of weekly training within the team in conjunction with the Shift Supervisor
* Planning of job start up, completions and changeovers
* Reading, understanding and interpretation of packing documentation and work instructions - daily
