<p>Due to a commitment to growth &amp; expansion an excellent opportunity has arisen to join Axis Fleet Management as their UK Sales Director. Axis Fleet Management have a high profile in the UK as providers of bespoke contract hire for trucks, trailers, rigids and swap-bodies, managing a nationwide fleet of over 2,000 vehicles.</p><p>Leading a UK wide sales development team &amp; working closely with the Managing Director, you will spearhead the identification of, and strategy for, business growth for UK operations, targeting a wide range of Operators, Logistics &amp; Supply Chain organisations throughout the country.</p><p>Excellent &lsquo;hands on&rsquo; management style aligned with a thorough understanding of how to increase profitable revenue streams is essential to this role, as is the ability to foster a sales culture that emphasises the need for long-term business relationships which deliver high-level performance.</p><p>Good communication, presentation &amp; persuasive management skills are a must as this is a high-profile senior role requiring a self-confident, proactive professional with an energetic style &amp; strong delivery focus.</p><p><strong>The ideal Sales Director will have the following skills and qualities:</strong></p><ul>
<li>Should ideally hold a degree (preferably a Masters in marketing &amp; business) or equivalent or be qualified by experience.</li><li>Solid background in sales &amp; marketing within a multi-service environment, with demonstrable experience within the supply chain or commercial vehicle management sectors.</li><li>Ability to think, plan &amp; act strategically.</li><li>Pragmatic approach to problem solving.</li><li>&lsquo;Hands on&rsquo; approach to management.</li><li>Excellent team building skills along with the drive &amp; resilience to create change &amp; improve systems to increase profitability.</li><li>Outstanding negotiation skills, as well as exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.</li></ul>
