Excellent opportunity to group part of global group of companies as a Claims Team Manager where you will be accountable for the overall claims handling process, including ensuring company is operating within the financial constraints of claims provisions and Underwriter limits.

As Claims Team Manger you will be responsible for:

* Formulating and implementing operational processes

* Motivating the Claims Handling Department to high levels of performance.

* Implementation and monitoring of adherence to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures, including incorporating control constraints and regulations imposed by the Financial Services Authority

* Shaping and implementation of Claims Handling strategy, and the co-ordination and provision of resources to enable effective claims handling objectives and strategies to be achieved.

* Having a clear understanding of the business activities in all areas is necessary.


To be considered for the Claims Team Manager you will need to:

* Have strong leadership qualities including supervisory, motivational, delegation and problem solving skills

* Have excellent communication, negotiation/influencing and interpersonal skills

* Have ability to set and devlier targets

* Have ability to handle a challenge and be flexible to change

* Have good IT skills

* Have good people development skills and experience

* Have good organisaitonal and planning skills

* Be creative/innovative in approach to challenges, and have good decision making skills

* Ideally have previous experience in a similar role

* Good level of education - ideally educated to degree level
