Media Teacher
Secondary Girls School

1-year contract commencing September 2012

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and creative Media Teacher for our client, a Secondary Girls School based in a picturesque part of SW London (Merton), for a one-year contract from September 2012.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Media Teacher to join a SW London school that Ofsted deems 'Good with Outstanding features' (March 2011). You will become part of a supportive and progressive Media department, to achieve the school's aim for excellence and in meeting and going beyond attainment expectations.

This Media Teacher job will be covering KS3 and KS4, and as the Media Teacher you will be responsible for planning, delivering of lessons that match the school's level of attainment, and also the full 360 degree role of a teacher (assessments, reports, etc.). A part of this Media Teacher job will also be teaching English.

Requirements for the role:


* Teaching Qualification ( BA Education, PGCE, or Naric Equivalent with QTS)
* Proven recent experience of teaching Media (this will be referenced by Hays Education)
* The aptitude to teach outstanding Media up to K 4 level
* Committed to an culture of high aspirations
* Inventive and creative teaching methods
