We are actively recruiting to help us deliver the largest capital investment programme on the UK electricity transmission
network in decades.

Right now we're looking for highly organised, innovative and proactive people to help us deliver a variety of exciting
and challenging projects.

Acting as the Project Manager, you will lead a specialist multi-disciplinary team, across a number of geographically
dispersed locations to ensure the safe delivery of technically complex high value electricity transmission projects by
driving progress through project design, target costing, schedule planning, commissioning and finally scheme closure.

We are looking for experienced people who can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of project management techniques,
ideally in a major construction environment. Previous Electricity Supply Industry experience in project delivery would be
preferred. As the role will also include commissioning management, any previous experience would also be a real advantage

Qualified to minimum HNC (or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering, leading to Chartered status (or
similar) in the field of contract / project management. Recognised training or qualifications in Health, Safety and
Environmental would be advantageous. Combining excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills, your ability
to establish and develop good working relationships with all project delivery team members, contractors and other
stakeholders will be vital.

If not already authorised, successful candidate would be supported to achieve National Grid Project & Commissioning
Management Authorisations, as well as ISOH & NEBOSH qualifications

Geography - The core office located at Hewish, nr Somerset, and as the name implies the vast majority of projects are
situated within the South West, however there may be a requirement to deliver outside this geographical footprint.

The role will be predominately office based, however you will need to have a full permission to drive in the UK and
willingness to travel, as there will be a need to frequently visit construction sites, partner offices and National Grid
locations. Operating out of one our locations situated within the South West, you will be working alongside other Project
Managers/Engineers and reporting to a Lead Project Manager
