MI Developer/Database Developer/DBA (MS SQL)

As part of the TalkTalk Group, Consumer Operations is looking for an MI/Database Developer (MS SQL) to work with stakeholders to provide accurate Management Information including day to day and ad-hoc reporting. Utilising Microsoft SQL you will take full ownership of sourcing datasets and processing data to produce the required reporting outputs.

The MI Analyst forms part of the Group MI team which supports the business in providing a view of performance across Customer Service. The role will involve:
* Scope and define reporting requirements including setting a delivery specification
* Development and production of reporting and applications using Microsoft SQL Server
* Provide reports to senior management highlighting operations performance and current business issues
* Ensure best practice and investigate new technologies

Essential Skills:
* MS SQL Server database development/administration
* RDBMS - data design and manipulation techniques
* Programming languages including T-SQL, VBA, SSIS and SSRS (desirable)
* Strong communication skills, being able to work with senior level stakeholders and share ideas within the team
* Proactive approach, being able to predict business reporting needs
