The Metro Group, a leading Carpet and Floor Covering Buying Group with over 150 members across the UK, wishes to appoint an Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day to day operation of the Group, leading and directing the Head Office team, ensuring highest levels of service delivery to members, working closely with manufacturers and suppliers maintaining effective relationships and ensuring competitive deals are negotiated for members; maintaining positive relationships with existing members, developing the offerings to them ensuring that the Group is an attractive proposition to encourage new members.
Ideally with a proven track record within the carpet & floor covering industry, a strong commercial and sales background, proven management and leadership skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
