We are currently recruiting a talented attendance officer to work as part of the attendance team at a Manchester secondary School. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and ICT skills. Experience of data management would be beneficial. Knowledge of School Information management (SIMS) is desired but not essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a school or college support role before and be looking for more responsibility. The role is a fixed term contract until Easter 2012

Located in a new building the school has state of the art facilities and is an integral part of the community. The school is located in an area of social deprivation and the ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with challenging students and potentially challenging parents. As the role is working with children all applicants must be in possession of a clear enhanced Criminal record Bureau Disclosure dated within the last 3 years and meet Randstad education's strict recruitment criteria.
