Our client is a globally known multinational e-commerce company with headquarters in the US. It is the world's largest online retailer in addition to being a producer of consumer electronics, cloud computing services and digital services.

Our client is looking for an exceptional lawyer to support their rapidly growing and evolving UK retail business. You will work with and report into one of our senior corporate counsels who have primary responsibility for supporting the retail business.

The role will include:
* negotiating contracts for supply with vendors
* resolving day to day legal issues arising from our existing commercial relationships
* working with our marketing teams to ensure our retail offerings are appropriately messaged
* ensuring our business teams adhere to all relevant law
* handling pre-litigation disputes and enquiries
* supporting the development, implementation and compliance with policies and procedures on a range of regulatory and commercial matters including liaising with your legal colleagues in the EU and US businesses
* providing training to the business teams on relevant issues (competition, vendor contract terms etc)

Our client is looking for an exceptional candidate that can demonstrate the following:
* A strong reputation and track record as a successful advisor to clients
* Significant post qualification experience (with a mix of experience at both a leading international law firm and in-house preferred), ideally with some part of that supporting consumer-products, e-commerce or retail businesses
* An excellent academic record

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
