POSITION: BMS Commissioning Engineer

SECTOR: BMS CONTROLS

SALARY: Up to 38,000 (depending on experience) + vehicle + bonus, pension, medical

LOCATION: Covering Central Scotland but with some sites further a field in Scotland so candidate must be prepared to travel

Our client is one of the leading national BMS companies with a proven track record of delivering solutions in both the public & private sectors.

It is a major force in the energy and support building management systems HVAC market and provides advice and solutions to improve performance & help reduce energy consumption & costs.

The BMS Commissioning Engineer shall utilise a strong knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals, business operations and the ability to work with little or no supervision in order to carry out commissioning activities associated with engineered project business for clients, Contractors or End Users.

This role will be mainly focussing on End users and the projects are likely be between 100k-300k
Candidates should be able to use wiring diagrams & specifications to accurately interpret customer requirements, identify and where appropriate correct wiring errors resulting from incorrect drawings, perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups as required, diagnose system defects and carryout trouble shooting as necessary, participate in the handover of the system to the customer, respond to customer service calls by investigating all reported problems, and be able to carry out software programmes that are required to effect the operation of the system.

Candidates should have over two years' experience in a similar role and be fully prepared to travel throughout the region with little or no supervision, this will be mostly in the Central belt of Scotland but will inculde some sites which are further a field.

Candidates should have an electrical background and previous commissioning experience of BMS.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with the TREND product.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and be prepared to travel.
