Job Purpose
To provide a professional placement service. Deal with a complex and demanding workload, delivering accurate and timely documentation and settlement of funds. Demonstrate and share technical expertise.

Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities of Job:
* Contribute to the achievement of Insurance division level agreements, key performance indicators and business objectives.
* Manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines and targets and maintain quality of service to Marsh and its clients.
* Use a flexible and diverse approach to resolve or oversee complex and/or contentious issues.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships, utilising effective communication, with colleagues, clients, insurers and third parties.
* Proactively handle tasks in line with specific client requirements, departmental procedures and scope of role/limits of authority.
* Undertake research and investigation to resolve issues and achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
* Produce and deliver information and documentation in line with requirements of Marsh and its clients.
* Build, maintain and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Marsh, its clients' business, and the industry sector.
* Act upon payment conditions and deadlines as appropriate.
* Identify and/or facilitate implementation of improvements to working practices, in line with Change Control protocols, where required.
* Adhere to compliance/regulatory requirements, Safety, Health and Environment Policy and Functional procedures and protocols.
* Adopt and promote a Treating Customers Fairly approach within all aspects of day to day work.
* Demonstrate expertise, acting as a referral point for technical and/or procedural queries from colleagues.
* Take responsibility for own personal development and behaviours, maintaining and improving knowledge and skills.
* Provide structured training and guidance - on a one to one and group basis - as required.
* Lead and/or contribute to internal and external meetings and projects as required.
* Share ideas, knowledge and experience.
* Provide guidance and support to Marsh and its clients as required, in line with regulatory guidelines.
* Obtain agreement from Insurers where required.
* Participate in internal and external audits as required.
* Conduct reviews of financial records and co-ordinate efforts to recover, or at least mitigate, exposure to loss for Marsh.
* Present the results of research and analysis to key parties to highlight issues and facilitate effective decision making.
* Use extensive knowledge and expertise to negotiate the resolution of complex and long-standing matters, ensuring that results and/or recommendations are delivered to meet business objectives.
* Use knowledge of business systems, London Market practices and data as appropriate to deliver significant outcomes and results.
