Our client is a leading world player in smart cards and payment systems. They are now seeking an Account manager is to be responsible for identifying customers and partners and growing the business in the area of Enterprise & OEM to meet Company targets. Potential business is expected to come from the following business lines: Authentication and Encryption , Remote Access, Mobile Security and M2M Applications
Responsibilities:
* Identify and sign new partners to meet the Enterprise & OEM Sales objectives
* Manage agreed accounts to maximise revenue opportunities to meet Sales objectives
* Qualify customers requirements, timescales and budgets
* Promote and position the activities in the UK and Irish markets
* Attend relevant tradeshows and industry forums
Education & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, preferably IT security sales
* Degree level Qualification
* Understanding of Logical and Physical Access, PKI, Authentication and Encryption solutions would be an advantage
Essential Skills:
* Business development skills to prospect and identify new partners and customers in the IT security arena.
* Telephone selling skills to make opening phones calls with new customers
* Account management skills to manage existing partner / client relationships
* Technical capability to understand (to a basic level) security products
* Ability to recognise business propositions based on security technology
* To deliver against agreed targets to meet company goals
* Strong presentation skills

This is a permanent, full-time position with the salary of 50,000 per annum plus car allowance and target bonus
