An Assistant Management Accountant is required for an immediate start with my client. As the Assistant Management Accountant in my client's team, you will be involved in all month end duties including journals, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, VAT and intrastats. In addition, you will gain exposure to ad hoc project and operational work as required by management. This is a temporary to permanent position. As the successful candidate, you will have a good grounding in finance gained in a similar working environment; having gained exposure in the above highlighted areas of accounts. You may have started or wish to start a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) and you will possess a driven and positive can-do attitude. Experience of an ERP system such as SAP or JD Edwards and strong Excel skills are required for this position. My client is a key division of a successful global manufacturing business and has been in operation for over 100 years. They are a specialist business whose unique services will put them in a steady position in a turbulent economic climate. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
