Our Client is a global leader in their area of expertise, with over 50 years manufacturing experience. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Process Engineer with experience in cost and quality procedure analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join, and develop within, one of the North-East's most prestigious companies.
Job Purpose: To drive lean initiatives and deliver improvements within the business attributed to quality, delivery and cost. To support product and process quality and cost down initiatives in conjunction with the Purchasing / Commodities team to ensure supply chain options and reliability.
The main focus of the role will be to drive cost reduction, whilst improving and maintaining quality procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree (HND minimum) in Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering discipline.
Essential Skills:
* The ability to interpret and provide Engineering instructions and drawings
* Experience in Engineering planning, Project Engineering, Continuous improvement and lean
* Use of AutoCad and Solidworks
* Previous experience with MRP environment
Hours 8:00am - 4:15pm
Salary between 25K - 30K, depending on experience.
