Business Analyst - Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst with multiple years of experience in regulatory reporting, the financial environment and good know how of Basel II. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a professional Business Analyst to work within a dynamic and international business environment.

Main tasks and activities:

* Communicate with (international) user community and decision makers

* Collection and documentation of functional and technical requirements for DWH system

* Creating Entity Relationship Models

* Determine which requirements fit with existing data sources and where any gaps may exist

* Creation of functional and technical customization design documents

To be considered for this long term role you must have the following skills/experience:

* University degree or higher professional education

* Multiple year of experience as IT Business Analyst

* Deep and multi-year Banking products know-how with focus on secured finance like SLB/Repos/Firm Inventory

* Good knowledge of regulatory reporting on liquidity (eg. FINMA, EMR, Basel 3)

* DWH and Entity Relationship Modeling experience

* Design and Analysis Skills

* At least 5 years experience in working with SQL editors and project delivery

* Good command of English

* German would be an advantage
