Quantity Surveyor (Rail S&C) - Doncaster
Up to £35,000 plus a company car allowance


Job Description

Work as part of the Commercial team to ensure provision of a professional Quantity Surveying service.

Responsibilities

MAIN TASKS:
*Provide information to measure the financial and physical performance of projects against targets.
*Ensure best utilisation of resources to maximise profitability of projects/contracts.
*Provide relevant information for preparation of reports/claims to agreed timescales.
* Assist in preparation of estimates for bids.
*Prepare and submit change control and monitor using a tracker.
*Prepare and submit where applicable applications for payment. Awareness of debtor days.
*Keep relevant records updates on IFS (e.g. payment certificates, retention, contract docs etc).
*Produce and input all information relevant to the CVR in conjunction with the SQS.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:
*As part of the team, ensure income and margin targets are achieved.
* Ensure timeous cash collection to laid down procedures.


Qualifications & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
*Qualified Quantity Surveyor or similarly qualified construction professional (HNC/HND or equivalent).
*2 years post qualification experience within the Rail Industry.
* IT Literate.
