Great Location in Canberra
The ACT's most established and reputable organisations is looking to appoint an experienced Objectstar/Cobol/IMS Developer to join this talented IT department for a 12 month contract starting July 2012. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, investigating, designing or maintaining IT applications to support the department's business processes, as well as perform the more complex tasks associated with this work.
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria;
* Proficiency in using ObjectStar in a Developer role including testing and implementations
* Ability to successfully engage and interact with business users, and IT stakeholders.
* Experience with and understanding of complex mixed-platform ICT environments.
* Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision as part of a distributed Project Team
