E-commerce Web Developer-High Wycombe

This market leading company who works with a prestigious list of clients is taking the market by storm, with their on-demand e-commerce solutions for leading retailers. Their success is built on a culture of excellence: a cutting-edge technology platform, a deep understanding of creativity in the pursuit of effective website design and unparalleled client service. They are now looking junior and mid level Web Developers to join their growing team.

This is a great chance for web development professionals who wants to work with the latest technologies, developing some of the coolest ecommerce sites around whilst developing your career in a varied and exciting working environment.

If you want to work alongside graphic designers to translate creative and functional briefs into cutting edge user-experiences then this is the chance you are looking for!

As a Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Server-Side Programming) you will work within the web development team and you will be responsible for developing e-commerce web sites using their e-commerce platform. You will also work on bespoke web projects - seeing them through from initial design and specification to delivery and on-going maintenance. You will be interacting with designers, programmers and clients to help plan the best course of action for web projects; creating functional HTML prototypes and wire frames, transforming Photoshop designs into HTML/CSS layouts and then bringing sites to life with server side and client side scripting.

The successful web developers will have:

- Either commercial web development experience OR a degree (or equivalent) in IT or Computer Studies
- Good knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Proven ability with server side scripting
- Awareness of W3C standards and specifications

In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with up to £32k DOE plus benefits and an exciting work environment. This is a superb opportunity with a prestigious market leader. If this role is of interest to you please send your CV as soon as possible. The People Network is an employment agency and will respond to all applicants within three working days.
